curate your ideal instagram feed ♡

nobody is perfect from the start, but when you’re pointed in the right direction, the confidence you get can be a gamechanger.

best practices

  • for static images and carousels, you can use 1080 pixels x 1080 pixels for a standard square image OR you can use 1080 pixels x 1350 pixels for a portrait image.

for reels and stories, you would use 1080 pixels x 1920 pixels.

  • this will depend a lot on your social strategy, but a good rule of thumb is to post:

    • at least 1x per day on stories

    • 2-3 reels per week

    • 2-3 static posts/carousels per week

these numbers may change depending on your goals on the platform and how much you can repurpose from other platforms.

  • the short answer — yes.

but having a ton of hashtags at the end of your well-written caption sometimes feels weird.

a hack that you can use to keep your caption clean while still benefiting from hashtags is adding a comment to your post with an emoji and then replying to your comment with the relevant hashtags.

  • there’s no one-size-fits-all solution to creating content.

but some things are consistent, the content you create has to be

    • relevant to your audience

    • authentically you (meaning you shouldn’t be afraid to show your personality and let people love who you are)

    • providing value while showcasing your product or service as the perfect solution to their frustrations
